Lindsey Mather

Digital Director

Lindsey Mather is a proud “words person” who oversees Domino’s home content strategy and creation, from rental renovations to home tours. She writes and edits stories about the ways people shape their spaces—and how their spaces shape them. She lives in New York City.

Highlights

  • Lindsey stumbled into design writing fresh out of college and never looked back.
  • Interests include workshopping headlines, checking site traffic on the weekends just for fun, and eating her husband’s homemade pizza.
  • Previous work experience includes Architectural Digest and West Elm.

Experience

Before she joined Domino, Lindsey helped launch Architectural Digest‘s small-space–focused Clever vertical and spent a brief time in the copywriting world at West Elm. Her very first magazine job was at Martha Stewart Living.

Education

Lindsey graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in Magazine Journalism and Policy Studies.

Design Philosophy

Google Slides is your best friend. For instance: Debating between three dining tables? Drag your top contenders onto a slide with pictures of the pieces already in your space (I just take iPhone pics and screenshots). It’s the easiest way to visualize how everything will work—or not work—together.
